Hey epic-geek-people-who-read-my-blog… yeah, still don’t have a name to call you all. Isn’t that supposed to be fan-made?
Today is going to be a little difficult, or at least that’s what I was thinking at first… until I realized how many things I absolutely looooove. Let’s go!
Flashpoint is an amazing show that Zach and I watched together. It is on Netflix, so if you haven’t seen it, go watch it. Basically, it’s just an amazing show. There’s ups and downs and romance but mainly psychology method and talking people down. It’s emotional, it’s realistic for the most part. Go watch it.
If you know me at all, you know I’m a psychology major and I love the mind. The power of the mind is amazing… however, you’d also know that I’m amazing at reading people. That’s one of the amazing reasons why I looooved the show Lie to Me. The actors were well chosen and amazing, one of the main characters is actually a lead role in Chicago Fire. Anyway, the show is pretty much all about seeing through people… their lies, their deception. Reading micro-expressions, tone of voice, etc. Just be careful and try not to over-analyze your everyday life!
I haven’t thought about The Night Angel Trilogy in so long… but for the longest time it was my favorite series… and probably still is. This trilogy was soooo well written and actually introduced to me by a good friend of mine who just happens to be one of Zach’s groomsmen *shout out to Tony*. Either way, this trilogy is amazing and no one ever seems to know about it.
Okay, now I’m going to spoil my beloved, good friend Nikki Gillette because she’s just absolutely amazing. Not only is she hilarious and does musical comedy, she’s an amazing teacher and then on top of that? She’s soooo inspirational and regularly makes my day or cheers me up even if she doesn’t realize it. Go check out her Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/nikkigillettecomedy/ Also note, I took the above pictures from her Facebook even though I have pictures of her as well.
Here’s a couple pictures I took of me and Nikki… or just her.
And how can I mention Nikki without mentioning how I met her? My last fandom that nobody knows about is Show Us Your Pokeballs. I’ve mentioned them many times before. For example, we actually got the pleasure to stay with them for Anime Milwaukee and then of course when they got Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey and the first time I met them at Cedar Rapids Comic Con. Either way, Show Us Your Pokeballs is an 18+ Nerdy Comedy Show… Who wouldn’t love that? Go check out their Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/SUYPComedy/
There’s five of my lesser known fandoms.
