Hey Epic Geeks,
Guess what? Fourth month in a row that I’ve managed to do a 6on6. Woooo!
“6 on 6” is a monthly post that was started by the awesome Emma over at Scruffy Little Nerd Herder. 6 on 6’s concept is posting six images of (nerdy) items that correspond with that month’s color on the sixth of the month. She explains everything on the original 6 on 6 welcome post. Go check it out and her other stuff too because she’s adorable and amazing and so sweet. Go check it out. All of it. But not before you finish reading this!
This month’s color is YELLOW! I honestly don’t like the color yellow all that much, but I just so happen to have a few things in mind.
Woodstock: Got him for $2.50 (half off of $5) when I worked at Kohl’s. It’s Kohl’s Care, the $5 goes straight to charity. I loved that about them.
Facehugger: My litter facehugger from January’s Loot Crate
Harry Potter Socks: I got these from April’s Loot Crate. Technically, they’re black, but look at all of those awesome fangirlly gold/yellow detailssssss.
Star Trek Shirt: So much Loot Crate goodies this time around. I don’t know which box this is from… It was probably the one I briefly mentioned in my little bit of everything post from around Easter.
Tracer by KukuruyoArt: I was looking for some Tracer fan art (because who doesn’t love art and Overwatch?) to feature and this piece stood out to me immediately. In the beginning, There was a Tracer post that highlighted her butt “too much”. They claimed it was sexist, but in reality, it wasn’t. Due to this, KukuruyoArt made this great piece saying, “Are you offended yet?”. I just love the meaning behind it.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: I don’t have it but I want it soooooo much. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child just so happens to be Yellow … soo it has to be included …
Any way, that’s all today. Go check out Emma over at Scruffy Little Nerd Herder. Trust me. It’s totally worth it. <3
Next month, my goal is to actually do this correctly, not just half-assed tossed together. I want to bring the meaning back into it with gorgeous pictures and to stretch my skills. <3
Keep calm, stay epic,
