A Merry Fictional Blog Tag

Hey Epic Geeks,

OhSoGeeky created this amazing, merry fictional blog tag/challenge. There are 18 questions plus a bonus question. I love the all of the questions as well as how geeky, fun and fandom related this entire challenge is. Even though this is called a challenge, I feel like it’s more of a tag. However, as a challenge, I feel like I should have made this a “Blogmas” type of deal and post a question and day! This is so exciting! Anyway, let’s get to this.

Advent Calendar: Traditions you celebrate during December?

I actually did the 5 Fandom Friday post that revolves around this question. So I don’t repeat my self, I’m going to redirect you to my Five Christmas Traditions post and let you see a lovely GIF of David Tennant instead.

Carols: What’s your favorite song(s)?

Okay. I’m really sorry. 5 Fandom Friday took this one as well. Five songs that get me into the holiday spirit was the first prompt for December. All of the music linked over there is violin music though. When I think about Christmas music, I always think about orchestra. I am a violinist and we always had to practice to play throughout the school hallways as well as the Christmas concert. I’ve played at plenty of places as a violinist, especially my junior and senior year in high school due to my chair in the orchestra (and being in the college orchestra at the same time). I loved every second of it.

Coal: A naughty character you’d send coal to?

You can spell Chaol without COAL (from Throne of Glass series).

Fireplace: Favorite Christmas movie that melts your heart?

I love How The Grinch Stole Christmas OR The Santa Clause

Gingerbread: What’s your favorite holiday snack?

Chocolate Chip Cookies! I don’t know how I could have answered with anything else. <3

Hot Cocoa: What’s your favorite drink?

I’m going to go with a Christmasy drink here I love homemade hot chocolate (it’s a one portion cocoa to two portion sugar/powdered sugar mixture with a little vanilla) and mini marshmallows.

Homemade Hot Chocolate Recipe

1 cup unsweetened baking cocoa

2 cup sugar/powdered sugar

Microwave or boil water … spoon mixture into a cup with a dash of vanilla to taste. Mix. Add marshmallows on top. Drink and don’t burn yourself. <3

Mistletoe: Character you’d like to meet under the mistletoe?

None. Just no. I don’t like the thought of someone I’ve never met touching me, much less kissing me, even if I wasn’t engaged. Sorry, fangirls!

Mittens: A cozy outfit that keeps you warm during winter?

Shouldn’t this be a cozy BOOK that keeps you warm? If so … it’s Harry Potter series. It’s a series that is always comforting.

Otherwise, for an actual outfit, I love leggings and long sweaters … I love fuzzy infinite scarves. I love beanies. That’s basically my cozy outfit.

Naughty: Three characters who’d make the Naughty list.

I think we can all agree that Jack Harkness is the naughtiest character from Doctor Who and Torchwood. (:
Chaol from the Throne of Glass series. Why? You’ll find out! if you read the series.
Bellatrix Lestrange is such a great character but she’s definitely not on the nice list.

Nice: Three characters who’d make the Nice list.

Rowan from Throne of Glass series … if you don’t know him … you will.
Snape needs some love too … he’s a good guy in my eyes. (:
Poison Ivy. Ivy is an awesome character overall as a Gotham City Siren. She’s saved Harley’s butt and also is responsible for her not-so-human abilities …

North Pole: If you could spend Christmas anywhere (even fictional), where would you go?

A Court of Mist and Fury Area: Velaris, the city of Starlight

Presents: A book or movie on your wishlist?

I want physical copies of  Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdoms. The books are gooooorgeous.

Rudolph: What’s your favorite TV holiday special?

I love Doctor Who Christmas Specials <3

Santa: A character you’d love to exchange presents with? What would you get them/they’d give you?

I think trading with Celaena or Lyssandra would be fun. I’d love some slinky silk/lace or daggers back and forth.

Scrooge: A villain you’d help see life in a different way?

MISTA J … but seriously, The Joker. Can you imagine how hilarious it would be going to a comedy club and seeing THE Joker standing up there doing crappy comedy? I think it’d be hilarious.

We could bring Pennywise from IT to birthday parties …

Voldemort can be the next “Defense Against The Dark Arts” teacher. He knows how to be beat and that can be used for good!

Snowflake: Something that makes you feel special.

I’m changing this to SOMEONE because really, Zach does. Everything I do, even if I should feel special about it myself … he’s the one that makes me feel special about it. He has helped me grow as a person and continue to grow on my own. He’s my special little snowflake. <3

Tree: What do you decorate your house with for the season?

Cat fur and hedgehog spikes. Otherwise, I just string some lights up mainly. I don’t like to clutter the house too much. It’s amazing how a little can go a long way. Oh, and a tree!

Yuletide: The top 3 things in your life that make you the most happy?

Love ♥

Music ♪

Art ♦

BONUS: Ugly Christmas Sweater: Would you wear a sweater Molly Weasley made you or avoid it like the plague?

I would definitely wear it for that day! I’d be so happy that I was included in her family enough to make me one. Then I would probably cut out the front of it, sew it to a t-shirt type material, and start making a t-shirt quilt/collage from it. Or, I would just font the sweater nicely and start framing them. <3 THANK YOU MRS. WEASLEY
