I didn’t listen to a whole lot this month. I started off strong in the beginning of the month and actually finished one of my goals for the year… buuuut, hey, whatever works, right?

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire by J.K. Rowling

Last month, I started re-listening to the Harry Potter series… next on the list was the Goblet of Fire. Woohoo!

Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix by J.K. Rowling

Then… of course to continue on with Harry Potter… The Order of the Pheonix was finished.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling

… and the Half Blood Prince…

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

… and finally the Deathly Hallows.

Now, I was so excited that I finished all the Harry Potter books within the past few months. It’s great! Now to watch all the movies.

However, I didn’t JUST read Harry Potter this month (well… listen to…)

The Son of Neptune (Heroes of Olympus, Book 2) by Rick Riordan

If you haven’t read the Percy Jackson series, go read it. Heroes of Olympus is the second series to that and I know I’ve mentioned it before. This month, I finished the second book at the series, The Son of Neptune. I actually read this one! I didn’t just listen to it. Woohoo. I’m about 50% into the next book so that’s hopefully going to be on my May list!

What books did you read/listen to this month? Please tell me below in the comments!

Keep Calm,

Epic

  • Harry Potter! I really want to do a re-reading of the series this summer because we own all the hardcover books at my house. I haven’t done a re-reading of the series in such a long time!

    • I did the re-read M(well, re-listen) originally in the memory of Alan Rickman… but I’m sooo happy I did it! It was amazing and just… refreshing. I think it was also insightful re-reading at my now-age versus when I was younger.

  • Finishing that many Harry Potter books (in any format) in such a short amount of time is impressive. Way to go.
I’ve only been managing about a book (and maybe a few trades) a month because I have so much reading for my courses. Which sucks because I have so many books I’m excited to read but not time to read them.

    • Thanks! I finished the first couple in March and then the rest (as seen) in April. It was so refreshing to re-read them.
Only reason I can manage so many is because I work full time. While at work, I like having an audio book going and it’s really refreshing to get back into reading, even if it’s actually listening because it’s something I enjoy so much.
I lost my time to read for the longest time after high school and just have been getting it back in my life.

  • I really need to get back into reading… Lolz! 😉

    • Audiobooks are such an easy way to get back into it! That’s how I’ve been succeeding so easily.

  • One day I’ll get around to re-reading Harry Potter….it’s always such a dilemma for me though. I have such a long list of new books to read sitting on my shelves, yet I love rereading series and finding new things in them. Haha

    • I have sooo many books on my shelf (including from swaps) that I haven’t read… I feel so bad!

  • I really, really need to do a HP re-read 🙂

    • Do it! If it’s easier, I found the audiobooks on Youtube, you just have to search.
