Hey Epic Geeks.

I’m on a rollll. This is my fourth month in a row tell you all what I read and listen to that is book related. Words. Also, look, new banner for this monthly series!

Books I Finished (March)

Books I Finished (April)

Books I Finished (May)

This month I did… okay. I did more than one a week but not enough to be “Heyyy, I read a lot!”

I finished a lot of good stuff though. I loved all of them.

First, I found Confess by Colleen Hoover. This was a random find but I was extremely surprised. The concept I loved the most was the painter would take random confessions and turn them into a picture. The picture was then named the confession. That’s explained pretty early on so it’s not ruining the plot or anything. Either way, this was extremely interesting and I’d definitely suggest it to any one. I listened to this in audiobook format, but it’s also available on Kindle and in Paperback. I will probably try to explore more into Colleen’s work.

Doctor Who – A Stone Rose

I was sooooo excited when I found The Stone Rose by Jacqueline Rayner. So excited, that I even made an entire post about the book. If you want to know more, go check that post out but please note, it’s narrated by David Tennant.

The Mark of Athena

As you all know, I’ve been going through the Heroes of the Storm series by Rick Riordan. Almost done with the series! This month I finished The Mark of Athena.

Doctor Who – The Angel’s Kiss: A Melody Malone Mystery

Another Doctor Who book this month! The Angel’s Kiss was written by Justin Richards. I listened to the audiobook and it was read by Alex Kingston, who plays River Song in Doctor Who. I enjoyed it, though, not as much as A Stone Rose.

How To Train Your Dragon

Believe it or not, I have never read or watched How To Train Your Dragon (written by Cressida Cowell) of any sorts until now. It has seemed so overrated but it was actually really good. Now I really want to see the movie. Maybe that will happen soon! Anyway, I really enjoyed the book and it’s always an upside when David Tennant narrates.

Currently reading: The House of Hades by Rick Riordan

Anyway, that’s what I’ve finished up this month. What books have you finished? What are you reading now. Let me know in the comments below!

Keep calm, stay epic,
