Hey Epic Geeks,
There are a ton of great new releases this upcoming year but I also have a ton of books I still need to read. Today, I’m bringing you a list of books I want to finish this year. It will be a mix of new releases and books that have been sitting on my TBR for a while. These are in no specific order.
Excluding DC icons releases, here are the 2018 releases I really want to finish this year.
The Fates Divide by Veronica Roth
Dawn Among The Stars by Samantha Heuwagen
Samantha is a debut author so links, cover, etc will be available later. BUT her book releases in May of 2018. If you like aliens and strong female characters, this book will be for you!
I want to finish all of the DC Icon books that will be out this year. The fourth is expected in 2019
Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo
Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo release in 2017. I’m currently reading it and cannot wait to let you all know how it is!
Batman: Night Walker by Marie Lu
Marie Lu’s Batman: Night Stalker is a 2018 release. It releases January 2nd!. I can’t wait to delve into it!
Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J Maas
As you should know, I’m a huge Sarah J Maas fangirl. I am definitely excited to see what she did with Catwoman: Soulstealer. The anticipated release date is August 7th, 2018.
Random Books From My TBR
You can see most of my TBR on my Goodreads, but I really want to knock some of them off the list this year.
A Conjuring Of Light by V. E. Schwab
I’m actually listening to A Conjuring Of Light currently but when I initially started this list, it was still just sitting on my phone. A Conjuring of Light is book 3 of the Darker Shades of Magic series. I love the thought of traveling to different worlds of magic!
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
I cannot believe Hannah hasn’t defriended me due to never reading Jane Austen … she’s not read Harry Potter though so all is fair in love and war, right? This year, I’d really like to read Pride and Prejudice. Send me a link to your favorite cover. Maybe if I get a pretty one I’ll read it quicker.
Since this post is already a day late, I’m going to end it there. What books do you really want to read this year? Any new releases? Let me know in the comments below!
In the meantime, keep calm and stay epic,
