Top 5 Wednesday: Fictional Jobs I Want

Hey Epic Geeks,

I’m really enjoying doing Top 5 Wednesday even though I’ve not successfully uploaded an accompanying video yet. Overall, I’ve not been doing well with my YouTube uploading, to be honest. This weeks Top 5 Wednesday’s topic is fictional jobs you’d want to have and as always you can keep up with  on the Top 5 Wednesday Goodread’s Group.

The first job I will be mentioning is from Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. This is mentioned in I think all of the books but it’s basically Miss Peregrine’s role/”power” in controlling the loop and creating loops. I would love that. However, I probably wouldn’t run it like her. I just love the concept.

Number four on my list is of course being an Agent of SHIELD. Who wouldn’t want to be an agent? Ideally, I’d have powers, but I would also be content just being a badass.

Morally, this job may seem like it’s not something I’d take … but number three on my list is the Game Maker for the Hunger Games. I would love the make the arena and obstacles in the arena. I would love to think that I would be helping a revolution happen or possibly even overpower the rest of the Capitol. I would be a double agent, playing both sides in my own way. I also thing engineering that sort of mass arena would be amazing. I’ve actually made a dungeon in D&D in a similar manner.

I would love to be a Guardian of the Clan Leader from Marked for the Hunt by Leah Chiasson. First, that means I’m a Faoladh, a werewolf, and secondly, I would be sworn to protect the Clan Leader. Who wouldn’t want that as their life’s duty? I’m in.

The best job in the wizarding world would be becoming one of the professors at Hogwarts. Now, I am really stuck between Professor of Dark Arts or Professor of Divination. I can see myself in both roles, and no, I wouldn’t be a Trelawney. Which class do you think I should teach? (In my head I just heard epic rap battles, WHO WON? YOU DECIDE? EPIC PROFESSOR BATTLE … )

I loved this prompt. Seriously. Dreaming up a future is amazing, much less into a job that is as amazing as the five above. Do you dream of having any of the same jobs? Do you wish to have a different one? Let me know in the comments below. I love hearing from you all!

In the mean time, keep calm and stay epic,

Kayla
